I can recommend some first class, free software that will make it simple for you compile a monster keyword list, it is at this point, however, that the professionals and the amateurs part company.

If you really want to earn serious money online, then you've got to ...

• Produce a separate ad group for every keyword

• Automatically make the keyword phrase the headline of the ad
• Automatically fill in a default headline when the keyword phrase is
  longer than the 25 characters permitted by Google
• Automatically give all your keywords a unique tracking code so that
  you can easily spot winners and losers
• Create two ads for every ad group
• Adjust bids on all of them every day, in seconds, to prevent over-paying 

Imagine how the features listed above could help you to 'bring home the internet bacon', you would not only save a massive amount of time but would be able to truly manage your campaigns like never before.

Ad Grenade is not the only ppc software out there, I spent a lot of time checking the products available and narrowed the field down to Ad Grenade at $147 and it's main competitor costing $399. I did not want to spend more than necessary, on the other hand $147 was too much to pay for a product that didn't do the job. With credit card trembling I signed up for Ad Grenade and discovered, after using it for the first time, that I wouldn't be asking for a refund !

I'm sure you don't struggle with the technical aspects of software in the way that I do, but just in case you do, let me assure you that with Ad Grenade you have nothing to worry about.

Ad Grenade works seamlessly with Adwords Editor (Google’s own free tool) to produce money generating, Google friendly, dynamic campaigns that are a million miles from the ‘hit and miss’ approach used by myself, and many others, in the past.

I will never give a favourable review to software that I have not spent my own money buying and don't use constantly. The truth is that I would not dream of running a ppc campaign without Ad Grenade simply because, I know that if I did, it I would not make money.

By the time we get to part three we will need software to manage our PPC campaign and there is nothing better than the wonderful Ad Grenade. 

For now we will concentrate on how to find a suitable list of keyword phrases to use in your ppc campaign - at zero cost !

When it comes to keyword research you can do it all with only two tools and they are both free ! - Traffic Travis and one from Google rather oddly entitled 'Keyword External Tool'.

I would encourage you to stick to these free products to start with - why spend money when you don't need to ?

How To Compile A Large list Of Relevant Keywords - FREE

To begin with, compile a list of obvious phrases within your niche, for example 'grow roses', ‘how to grow roses’, ‘how to grow climbing roses’, ‘how to grow hardy roses’ etc. Another free tip, enter your phrases into the Google search box and see if the dropdown  menu comes up with more suggestions.

Click on the 'keyword finder' in Traffic Travis and enter your list, one at a time, then send everything that T.T. has found to the 'sorter' where you will get rid of the inevitable duplications as well as single word phrases and ones consisting of more than ten words. Anyone interested in free stuff will probably not turn out to be a buyer ! Traffic Travis will enable you to download your list to a *.txt file where you will manually delete unsuitable keywords.

At this point we load the entire list into Google's 'Keyword Tool External' and click the 'Get Keyword Ideas button, then add any other keywords, that Google has suggested, to the list. When you download your list to a text file you will discover that it is arranged alphabetically.

Your final task is to re-arrange your list into very targeted groups of keywords, that is phrases that are very tightly related. You must understand how important this is, the keywords that your ad represents must both appear on the page the ad is pointing to and reflect what the page is about.

There isn't space here to go into precise detail on how to use the two tools I have mentioned, however, I think the Google tool is almost self explanatory and Traffic Travis  has some very good tutorials.

This is the right adwords software at the right price.
